Currently going for 138, just bought one.
The price history on this ranges up to 349 in some places.
This is currently the cheapest from what I searched for new.
[Please note]
It is being sold at this price from a few different amazon sellers.
I chose stavvy sales at 100% rating since they have the better score compared to online king which is 92%.
There's also one used very good condition and cheaper, shipped and sold by amazon for 128.
I also searched on slickdeals to see if this was posted and found one from last year, the link still works, but I believe it should be updated to a current post.
I don't post here much, so constructive criticism is appreciated.

So, at least the midrange is very easy to drive loud enough, including with the amps integrated inside of typical sound cards, smartphone dongles, and so on. Should work fine from your soundcard. I will say from experience, however, that the QUALITY of the amp will still be revealed by the AKGs, so while both your soundcard, a Sony Walkman ZX500, or a $600 discrete desktop amplifier all can play at equivalent loudness (and a PS5 controller will get "loud enough"), the $600 amp will still help the audio sound more crisp and have a more solid impact of bass attack and cymbal hits.
Beyerdynamic headphones DO use more metal in their designs; the metal materials DON'T inherently make their build "quality" better in the sense of durability, comfort, or acoustic quality compared to the resins of headphones like AKG or Sennheiser… just heavier, with a bit more luster to look at from the metal. All three of these brands make excellent headphones, your audiogram and personal taste will dictate your individual favorite.
Beyer = bright
Sennheiser = warm and bold (HD 800 being an exception)
AKG = somewhere between the two with emphasis on soundstage.
Beats = bass and treble emphasized over mids/vocals, more than just "warm"
Bose = chocolatey but muddy warm sound.

X2HR is a difficult recommendation.
This headphone will probably sound pretty lackluster from a computer, I wouldn't suggest getting this headphone if that is all you have as it will barely be an upgrade over your SHP9500. (don't roll your eyes just yet). I haven't quite pinned it down but the feedback I've received regarding this headphone is when not using a favorable source, the headphone's bass can be either non-existent, muddy, vocals can be grainy and distant sounding, quite frankly the overall experience can be pretty bad. When given a proper source this headphone has none of these issues and is probably one of the most rewarding experiences I've heard in the budget category and maybe one of my favorites. When people say that it does have a lot of bass, it really does! Unfortunately, I'm not sure what others definition of 'lots of bass' is but the only way I can seem to achieve the kind of bass I want without making the headphone sound like ass through EQ (which I dislike using) is to do this through the bass boost feature of my iFi air DAC. I specifically like turning xbass on through the air DAC and the air CAN amp together, so, much, fun!
This headphone is just difficult to get a feel for with so many variables, so it's not one I like to recommend without knowing more information.
I've heard some variants of the 770, the lower ohm ones would be pretty samey with your m50x, with a few minor differences.
I think the choices you have here are mostly side grades at this point with a few differences here and there. It will also be hard to make recommendations in earnest without knowing what kind of gear and budget you have.
$100 is my budget and my LG v50 phone has built in DAC. I'm looking at K361/371 now.
Yes. Stumbled upon some suggestions for K361/371 off the internet. Oluv actually gave a good sound demo between the two. The Anker Q20+/Q30 is interesting even though I have no use for ANC.
yeah LG is the best
I always want to mention that you can get an LG g8 for just over $100, with the 32bit quad dac on and the dts x set to wide there is nothing like it,
with this mini amp https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&
and some x2hr's forget about it, you're swimming in sound like you never thought possible...
the x2hr's are the move man, unless you want smaller for travel..

for travel I got crusher evos, wired with the LG, with the dts x wide on

If you get the X2HR, most likely you will upgrade again anyway. I would bypass it.

Anyone knows what's going on?
Good for vocals?
