Does Nova let you customize the look of the pull down menu?

Got my first trade in kit. No way to tell which trade in phone to pack. Guess I will have to call in tomorrow.
Were you able to find out anything? I am getting 2 trade-in kids (one today, and one next week), and will be in a similar situation.

Thanks! That makes me hopeful. I should have asked, what about the promo gift card? Was that reissued or deducted from the "return"?
They just reissued the promo gift card.

Ordered a Pixel 7 on Oct 15 with a credit card and two $100 gift cards applied. Payment details on BB show $448 charged to the card and 2x$100 GC that are "Awaiting Authorization".

On my card statement I'm showing the full charge of $648, as if no gift card was applied. We'll see what happens at pickup but has anyone else gone through this yet? If so, how did it go?
Mine also said that, but after a day or so, the correct amount of GC showed up on order page. After I picked up the phone, the correct amount charged to my CC was on the order page.

Somehow I received two $200 gift card for one 7 pro order, and both gift cards have different code/pin and both have $200 loaded. Their system messed up something.

That sucks. So you are stuck with two buttons per row, and need to pull down two times to access the brightness slider. I can't believe Google doesn't let you customize something so basic.

Nah there's a way around it. I'm not going to get into it but it is possible to do the transaction with a GC applied. I just want to know how it ends up going for people who did this once they went to do the pickup/trade-in.
send me a pm with how to do this please

Got it, thanks. For context mine's been like that for multiple days. But I'll see what happens when I pick it up.

I hear you. The screen and front facing camera are definitely better on Samsung. We can't do anything about the selfie camera other than use an editing app after.

I am currently using Fold 3 with Android OS 13 Beta. Samsung Skin is definitely better on the notification/shortcuts panel since it is a classic look.

I have no issue with adaptive brightness on my P7Pro. I don't even mess with my brightness slider on Pixel or Fold and both phones work just fine for me.

I am using Nova launcher on all my phones and double tap to turn off the display is easily configurable even on Pixel. Built in launcher is just extremely limited (including Samsung One UI). I do need to look for another launcher to replace the Nova to avoid being tracked by the analytic company. Sigh...
You may be already aware of it, but you can upgrade the Fold 3 to Fold 4 for almost nothing by trading it in with Google Fi. I was tempted to pick up a Fold 4, but I am really enjoying the compact size and light weight of my base S22.

Since I am so used to the S22 and Note 10+ before that, I found the P7Pro to be a bit too dim on normal settings. I only used it for a day before putting it in a box though, so maybe things may have gotten better over time as it is supposed to learn from your brightness inputs.

Yeah, the biggest disappointment was the selfie camera. I like the added field of view, but it is substantially less sharp compared to my S22, which is to be expected from a fixed focus lens. I did many side by side comparisons with my S22 and was really surprised to see the quality difference between the two when it comes to selfies. The only area where the P7Pro shines compared to my S22 is when a higher zoom level is needed (5X+), which is to be expected.

The Assistant Manager had problems with the trade-in system and it took about 20 minutes to process, but it was well worth it. The P7 fixes the biggest problem with the P6, which I traded in: the modem and connection issues. It's perfect for my use case. As a Google Fi user, there was the added bonus of 3 free months of service ($195 value). $755 (after tax) for the 256gb version minus the $515 trade-in for my P6 and $100 GC means I came out ahead. This is probably the best deal I've gotten on a phone ever, as a person who doesn't do bill credits.
