Verizon has announced Page Plus, Net10, and Go Smart are being discontinued and will stop new activation's on 11/1/22.

*All customers on an AT&T/T-Mobile based sim have until the end of 2024 to switch to a Verizon based sim, customers who don't will need to find a new provider as your Tracfone brands T-Mobile/AT&T service will be discontinued by end of 2024.

Some people mention a bad replacement screen on reconditioned TF iPhones - I didn't notice any issues with screen.
In August I got another reconditioned XR with $50 off promo (6000 TF rewards points) primarily as a backup for kids when they will eventually break their iPhones. The screen felt a little laggy on that one, not sure if this is due to replacement screen. Battery health still 100%

Just make sure you actually activate the line / SIM and not just the phone / Apple activation.. It should be quick and easy to do online. Probably a good idea to test with a call your main phone or something.
if you cannot update sw, the phones are defective. But really hard to get any help from tracfone for exchange or refund.

itunes restore did not complete for me.
apple store did complete restore via USB cable but didn't help. if I can go to previous version, it might solve the problem.
any suggestions on repair apps? ideally
free ones.
Question, Tracfone provided me with a USB-A 5w charger but a USB-C to Lightning cable.
