Based on Youtube reviews, I thought Asus Zephyrus is one of the better models that can handle the heat.

Overheats, doesn't like thunderbolt at all, and when the heat exits the laptop, it ends up cooking your mouse hand.

Really wish they would put the 1440p version of the G14 on sale. The 1080p display just doesn't do it for me.

Seems like a good option. But I'm torn whether to get this, Macbook air, Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha ($700) or Lenovo - Yoga 6 13.3" ($750), even saw Surface Laptop 4 $837. What other suggestions could be had for around or under $800. Wanting something small/thin <15" with a more premium quality. Though this zephyrus isnt that light tbh.

Looking to do some basic 1080p video editing (1080p output), web browsing, record voice overs and media consumption.

I have the ryzen 4800 model with the 1650, screen flickers from time to time. Would love to get something a bit more powerful if they fixed the screen issues
