This is a good deal. Saw this while looking for 60 volt batteries on sale. Home Depot has been clearancing their 60 V Greenworks tools out. If I hadn't just bought the 16 in 60V for $60 today I'd but this one.

not sure how long that 2.0 AH battery will last in real world. Was using my Ego this weekend and went thru two (2) 7.5 and one (1) 5.0, and recharged one of each as well while using the third. So I went thru 32.5AH (Five batteries) cutting wood around our new property in a half day.

Agree, and the 2.0Ah battery probably won't last long (overall) either. I've had 3 go bad on my 80V mower. They were replaced, but still a hassle. I have this same chainsaw, bought a year or so ago from the Amazon warehouse for $199 with the case, bar oil, and extra chain. It is a good tool, with plenty of power, but I use one of my 4.0Ah batteries with it. High amp-draw tools should never be sold with the weak 2.0Ah battery.

On Edit: I see this is newer production with a 4-year warranty, you will likely need it for the 2.0Ah battery. Be sure to register the tool with Greenworks, for less hassle if warranty replacement is needed.

Just a pointer for people with this problem. I had a couple of batteries I thought went bad. Turned out to be the charger. For some reason the the charger would work on a new battery a few times then throw an error. After changing the charger, I have had no battery issues in the past 5 years.

Good point. In my case, I have 4 chargers, so I knew it was the battery.
