Chainsaw and batteries sounds wrong. Seems like it'd eat up that battery very quick. Any firsthand experiences?

Works fine. Doesn't seem to eat up any more battery than the lawn mower with the wheel motors on.

it's an electric chainsaw though so as long as you're aware of it's limitations then it should be fine

No more mixing 2 stroke... no more gummed up or rebuilding of Carbs.... No more trying to start on a chilly morning.
I'm down for that.

I have the 80V Kobalt labeled version which I believe is the same. It's great for casual around the yard use and camping. For something like clearing a tree off a trail it's great. Zero maintenance so no clogged carbs from alcohol laden gas (thanks Iowa!) It's also much quieter of course.

I am guessing I can cut 20-30 logs per battery depending on size, hardness of the wood, etc. Then the next battery for more.
