I've had this chainsaw for just over a year and it's worked well for me. I've cut around three chords of wood with it so far. You will be happier with a battery with more capacity than 2Ah.

Been looking for a deal on this saw for a while. $199 now and still a worthy deal at this price. Reviews are good and Greenworks has excellent customer service. Grabbed one. Thanks OP

I would venture a guess that most people buying this would already be in the greenworks 80v world and would have extra batteries. I would much rather use 2 batteries than one of the bigger ones due to the weight..Sure in my pressure wassher and lawn mover, the bigger the better as i am simpply pushing it around. Try using the edger or even the blower with the 4Ah battery, it gets tiresome because of the extra weight..

I totally agree with the weight issue. I would rather see a bigger battery with the battery hungry tools as we get no shortage of deals with the 2 and 2.5 ah batteries. I must have at least 6 chargers ranging from the slow to fast charger. The 800 cfm blower kit is the best when it comes with both 2.5 and 4 ah batteries and I've 3 blowers now.

Yeah, I've got quite the supply of 4Ah batteries from that deal. Bought a total of 10 of them and flipped the blower/batt/2Ah battery for cost and kept the big batteries. It's one of the reason I bought their 80v pressure washer and some other tools..

I was only able to cut down a 4000 acre nature preserve before I ran out of battery. In for 10

How's the pressure washer? I would love to have a cordless washer. How long does the 4ah battery last? Thanks!

not QUITE as good as my gas one, but it's sooooo much easier to pull out and get up and running with no fuss. Has spots for 2 batteries too. Honestly did not time how long the batteries lasted as I ddidn't care because i have so many...

i caught the "tool only" version at Greenworks for $299. If you need more batteries sometimes the one with dual batteries goes on sale at Walmart..
