Maybe a dumb question but does Chase calculate 48 months from when you last received the bonus, or when you closed your card? I've always erred on the latter side to be safe.
Received bonus. This has always been the rule for chase credit cards.
If Priority Pass is a main sell, then nothing beats the Venture X. You can have AUs for free and they can each get Priority Pass as well. Not to mention, two free guests per person. All for a card that pays you $5 each year to keep it open.
How do you get $5/year for keeping it open? There is $395 annual fee and $300 travel credit, the $100 TSA precheck is only once a 4 or 5 years.
Dozens of PP restaurants. And there's tons of lounges too. Including in the US.
I am well aware there are a few places left in the US but the list is anemic and few airports compared to 2019 and prior years. It's a list of maybe a dozen places, a far cry from the 1300 claimed in their advertising campaigns. Huge airport hubs like Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Atlanta, NY, etc no longer have jack on the Priority Pass!
If you travel to a few of the airports on that list frequently then you're in luck but the vast majority of travelers are out of luck when hitting a big hub!
Had the Reserve for 4 years, fantastic card, but with the new $550 AF it's just not worth it anymore. Got the preferred and couldn't be happier.

This is my experience as well, we've been bouncing all over the airports in search of the lounge to find out that it no longer is a part of a program. Plus their benefits sucks, I tried to return a camera one month after I bought it from Google and both options were denied. Definitely not worth $550 which I've saved to offset the wasted money on the phone, by not extending the card.
For some the Chase Sapphire Preferred or United may be a better option, both provide similar benefits, including primary insurance coverage and you don't have to pay the annual fee for the first year for United.
Dallas has like SEVEN places-- 2 minute suites, 2 relax spas, 2 gameways, and The Club at DFW lounge
LA has
Atlanta has 1 relax spa, 1 minute suite, and one The Club lounge.
LAX has a Be Relax Spa and a Gameway
NY? JFK has six PP lounges in various terminals plus a be relax spa AND a steakhouse you get $28 per person in free food.
Global Entry includes precheck benefits so no
Try going from one terminal to another in Chicago just to get to Swissport lounge (and going thru security) and then being told lounge is full. It's just not worth it.
The steak place in JFK is actually pretty decent.
Wonder if it will get to 100k ot 120k again.
Either way, i did aign up for 120k back in the day and closed the card at the end of the year before the new annual fee kicked in. Question, how ling do we have to wait to get in on another UR point deal, say this one?
^^ This is the correct way to use it. If you're a family of 4+, this thing is phenomenal for travel. Throw in massages and stuff and it makes my travels as pleasant as can be.
Can you please clue me in? I just got it for a family of four traveling to SIN via JFK. Is there a list of restaurants and airport lounges?

That's from 2019.
It cites there being 28 PP restaurants in the US.
The 2022 list I just gave you is slightly LARGER.
You seem very confused.
RESTAURANTS (the thing originally mentioned as the distinction of this card over Amex) were never more than 28-30.
And they are about the same number now as 2019
LOUNGES, was a much higher number.
And still is.

That's US lounges and restaurants.
Not "maybe a dozen" but 90.
