Triple squares or XZN are 12-pointed drivers. Volkswagen uses some of those in older really high torque applications like engine head bolts and drive shaft flanges.
Torx is a 6 lobe profile.
Regardless, $11 for a triple square set is pretty good.

The larger the bit the more torque it can handle. They don't expect you to use a 3/8 drive ratchet on a t20 for example cause you will either over torque the fastener or destroy the bit.
There's the long set for $11 and the regular set is $16
As well as other VAG cars. I used a set for my HPFP
