i am in CA, and talked to buyDig customer support and they said while burn-in is covered, if an issue happens, customer is responsible to ship the tv to service center at their own expense and insurance/serviceCenter will evaluate that case.
i think same applies for NY.
in other states, they would send an engineer to customer's address to verify and check and support.
This sounds like the burn-in warranty is almost pointless in CA/NY then if customer bears shipping cost.
Does anyone have more info on this or any past experiences?

November 25 (Black Friday)...?
I get that most of the time Black Friday deals are either lower end products or SKUs made cheaply for Black Friday, but at this point you are betting AGAINST the current trend in regular price drops not to expect a $1597 + $150 GC or similar promotion.
At a certain point, waiting for a 65" C2 to get even cheaper may be worth it, but you have to ask yourself, would you say you got $100 worth of value in a single month using the TV?
This could be the deal I've waited for... Decisions decisions. I was looking at the Costco deal for same timeframe ($2500) but its 5yr warranty does not cover burn-in and this includes the extra $175 GC.
I'd be upgrading my 65b7 that has had burn-in twice. First time the panel was replaced under warranty. The second time it is out of warranty and we are just living with it for now.

I will gladly take a refund. I haven't read through the warranty details- does the warranty cover burn in? Has any one dealt with this warranty company?
They do a refund. I got this deal last year with a C1 for living room. Burn in protection means that I am going to be using the 42" c2 as my monitor!!
Is the C2 a meaningful upgrade from a B7? And I know we don't know the future but has there been any news on whether the C3 is worth waiting for over the C2?
In CA if you have a Video Only store nearby they will sell they 77" C2 2199 with 5 year warranty (warrantech is the 3rd party warranty provider... not good reviews).
They will guarantee they price thru black Friday. My guess is the other C2 sizes are on sale as well.

Does anybody have an answer why the stand is different on a picture on buydig then Best buy's picture where it's a solid little stand in the middle even Amazon has the same one as Best Buy that's strange.

It looks like they used a picture of the 42" for all the sizes.

Also have a B7 and looking at this. I think it depends on your use case. I am considering it mainly for gaming as the 120hz will greatly improve my experience. For regular movie and tv watching? I don't think it's a necessity honestly
Coincidentally, I was at Costco Montebello, CA tonight (30 mins before closing) & they had this exact 48" LG floor display on sale for $785! That price includes the typical Costco 5 year Allstate warranty. (Employee said displays are there for less than 6 months as their inventory rotate so fast & often.)
But definitely extremely YMMV as each Costco marks clearance inventory at different times, and depends on if they still have displays left or if it was ever stocked in the store. Also, with only one display in each store it'll be hard to snag it.
Pics attached.

This seems to be about 200-300 cheaper than the LG partner store deal (for the 77").
