i am in CA, and talked to buyDig customer support and they said while burn-in is covered, if an issue happens, customer is responsible to ship the tv to service center at their own expense and insurance/serviceCenter will evaluate that case.
i think same applies for NY.
in other states, they would send an engineer to customer's address to verify and check and support.

This sounds like the burn-in warranty is almost pointless in CA/NY then if customer bears shipping cost.

Does anyone have more info on this or any past experiences?

November 25 (Black Friday)...?

I get that most of the time Black Friday deals are either lower end products or SKUs made cheaply for Black Friday, but at this point you are betting AGAINST the current trend in regular price drops not to expect a $1597 + $150 GC or similar promotion.

At a certain point, waiting for a 65" C2 to get even cheaper may be worth it, but you have to ask yourself, would you say you got $100 worth of value in a single month using the TV?

This could be the deal I've waited for... Decisions decisions. I was looking at the Costco deal for same timeframe ($2500) but its 5yr warranty does not cover burn-in and this includes the extra $175 GC.

I'd be upgrading my 65b7 that has had burn-in twice. First time the panel was replaced under warranty. The second time it is out of warranty and we are just living with it for now.

I upgraded to the C2 from an E8. It's a big difference when playing video games. Picture is better but it's not a night and day difference. All HDMI ports on the C2 are HDMI 2.1 120hz as opposed to the HDMI 2.0
Thanks

I just bought this through AAFES for $1600. No extended warranty like here, but I have to say it is a pretty looking TV. Don't love the remote, but I have a logitech universal one, so I can live without the default one. PS5 looks incredible on it.

The feeling I got a solid deal on my 77" G2 for 3k OTD seems to fade each time the C2 price drops.
G2 prices will not drop as quickly as C2 for now...G2 models are not produced/sold at same volumes (ie. not available at Costco) so there will not be as much discounting to move volume until they need to get rid of them once and all when the new models come out next year.

I know this will sound weird to people, but I am tempted to replace my 50 inch kuro elite with a 42 inch oled. lol. I almost like it better to have a smaller tv for everyday watching and only use a bigger one (I have a 55 inch oled) for some movies. I most likely will go 48, though... But it sometimes seems more relaxing watching a smaller one and just sitting closer.

And now check this bs out. My soundbar receiver is not turning on, which last time it happened electricity all went out so clearly it's an electrical issue not a prob with the soundbar, but since it's happening I can't WATCH my kuro because it's a 101fd that has no audio without an external audio source! So I am tempted to buy an oled from best buy just to see how I like it since I clearly am going to keep having this stupid issue.

Trying to decide between 77 and 83. How drastic of a difference is it between the 2 sizes? Pricewise it is a good 1500 more, i can almost buy two 77's for that difference in price lol.

I went to Costco and check out both sizes,l. It seem 83" is more a wow factor than 77". Unfortunately, my Costco doesn't carry the 83", so I have to order it online for delivery. Since I'm working 7 days a week, I would spend the extra $$$ and enjoy TV at home on my off time.

Also the US dollar keeps getting stronger. If the price was quoted in wons, prices would have gone down for us by nearly 40% since the start of 2021

Fellow 65b7 owner here. Waiting on 77G2 to hit the 3100 mark on BB with the 24month 0% financing. 5 year lg warranty makes it easy going with that purchase and the built in atsc 3.0 tuner
How much is the 5 yr warranty at Best Buy? Or am I missing something regarding Best Buy extended warranty with financing?
Cover Burn-in?
