Mine arrived today and it has 2 batteries
I've had many brands that have crapped out just after the warranty (especially Ryobi).

I went all orange several years ago and have not had an issue. You can't beat the lifetime warranty on tool AND battery.
Imo, depends on which battery system you are invested in, or want to invest in. I can't speak to these specific tools but (again imo) Ridgid offers a lot more bang for the buck, especially considering the warranty.

Not up on these type of tools.. Which is a better deal -

This one, which is not brush less or the Milwaukee M18 18V Lithium-Ion Cordless Oscillating Multi-Tool (Tool-Only) with free battery for $129?

Is this hackable? I don't need the batteries just the tool.

So I think the website description might be a mistake

The product details does not say it includes the batteries..

The specifications says it does include 2 batteries.

I ordered it, so we will see.

I punched in the kit number on Ridgid's LSA registration site and it came up a as a special kit with spots to fill in serial numbers for the oscillating tool, charger, and 1 -2ah battery. So doesn't appear to have 2 batteries.

Same here. Got plenty of 6ah,4ah batteries. 2ah are garbage.

This was factory blemished at direct tools outlet 2 days ago, $72 IIRC, free shipping. LSA eligible as well.

I saw another Milwaukee M18 with 1.5Ah battery and charger for $99. Anyone have a recommendation between Rigid and Milwaukee?

the m18 is brushed as well, need to go fuel for brushless.

m12 fuel is amazing and in some ways better than it's m18 fuel brother.
