Add this and the free stand to cart, and make the purchase. Then you can return the stand and get the saw for the price listed. Alternatively it seems you can pick two different pickup locations and not pick up the stand.

How do you like it? I have an older HF corded 12" which is bulky and inaccurate. I wonder whether it is worth changing. I like the smaller size and the lighter weight. Not sure about the cordless part. I usually use it within a short reach of a power outlet and don't usually move it around to feel the need to have a cordless one.

Most likely. You may have to have a manager override the price. If you get the home Depot app on your phone add the deal to your cart and it will show the lowered prices per item in cart. Show the cashier and/or manager and ask them to price match the home Depot website price. They will probably just price match both items vs trying to add the "free" item.
