Seems like a killer price, even if you can't do the hack and get stuck with the extra battery for some reason.

I need a miter saw but I don't know about getting a battery powered one. Especially since I'm not in the Ryobi ecosystem.
Anyone have experience with long-time use of one of these? I'm talking battery drain and use times.

Would rather have the corded version for saws.

I was looking at the corded metabo 10 inch miter for 119 but this one looks like it ate the metabo for breakfast. I've heard pretty good things about the new Ryobi saws, not so much the old ones but honestly I'll be happy to have either. Thanks for posting.

Good deal. Purchased this one year ago for $145 in a similar deal. Only five dollars more, one year later.

Think he's quoting Hack Price…..

He should have done the honest math
then show the questionable slight of hand.

I have the 7 1/4 and the 10 inch slider battery saws. I'm pretty impressed with both of them. They're not killer torque monsters like a corded one, but I've had no issues cutting treated lumber and decking, as well as trim.

I used this to help build my deck this year, and really enjoyed it. The LED shadow line is impossible to see in bright sun, but does work in shade. I took someone else's advice and immediately replaced the blade, and it made a huge difference (much less bogging down and turning off mid-cut). Definitely recommend replacing the blade early on. Diablo is my go-to blade now.
