As far as waiting for it to get cheaper. I thought about that but $189 is pretty cheap for a good low-mid level card and with 8gb of Gram it should be good for a few years. Sure it MIGHT get cheaper by $20 - $30 but there is a bottom on everything. Even lowly Video Cards that run at 1/10 the speed of this still go for $100 or so.
I was not willing to risk them selling out just to save $20. In a few weeks we will find out but I needed a card now.
