these cheap phones are great to keep at in the car, at work, or in your bag just in case for emergencies. just remember to at least use them about once a month to keep them active else they could go inactive and then game over.

Yes. If you wait 60 days before transferring the minutes/airtime and haven't added 4+ lines to your account already, you'll also get 10k points per line. 20k points is worth much more than 120 (60*2) days of airtime, so that's usually the way to go (plus then you can unlock the phones and make them more useful as a donation if you just care about the airtime.)

also when it comes to all those rewards points people been getting on tracfone, what are you guys using them for? I see iphones have been OOS for weeks

Agent helped me add a device to my account yesterday, I see 10K points in pending immediately, if I active this device today, will the 10K become available 60days from today, or 60 days from yesterday?

Reward points are not available until the 61st day from the day the points show as pending.

I used the plan and then merged it to another phone. The phone now not active.

I have read thru much of this thread but admittedly not all. I was successful with purchase and earning the pending points.
Although it may have been posted already, I am interested to know if anyone has mentioned whether the 10k point bonus has been extended beyond Dec 31? It was extended previously in the fall, so do we just wait a few more days and see what the real world experience turns out to be or does anyone reading here have some info?
