Maybe it's just me but I do not see how this is going to help folks who are not planning to stay subscribed after the trial period. It's not like a savings account where you put money for 3 months, earn interest, then with draw principal plus interest. Your 100 GB is online and unless you keep paying google to keep it online, your files will be deleted, eventually

For what reason do people need 100gb of storage for 3 months? Seems like this would only start you on the path of another endless subscription or a big hassle if you fill it up and don't want to use it anymore

Something I've been trying to figure out after starting this trial last month via Google Fi - can you use Google Play Balance towards this? i.e. balance from the Rewards app?
