    I never really played the far cry series but wound up starting with 6. It was ok but got repetitive really really fast. Then I figured I'd go backwards and started playing 5 with a buddy. I instantly fell in love with that game. The whacky zaniness plus the story was on point.

    I don't understand the complaints about fc6. I purchased in July for $17 and thought it was great - a fine followup to 4 and 5. Fun story, excellent theatrical cut scenes, companion designs (chicharron gang), vehicles/horses, weapons system felt well tuned, etc. I had a blast, so many hours of enjoyment for my $17.

    Gameplay is formulaic like many ubisoft series but I don't think it detracts from the experience.

    I enjoy this game, but I have no experience with any of the FC. In a previous thread, I was told to play 3, 4 then 5 in that order and that they're all tons of fun. This game IS repetitive though.

    Darn Xbox is sold out now, I like FC5, but really wish it was a 3rd person game especially for driving.

    Just finished this game...worth the 10$, after the 2nd week i focused only on main missions as it was getting repetitive. I never really upgraded my armor and i really kept the same gun setup 80% of the game... i would skip the minor cutscenes, they tried to make it too cinematic.... i was rushing to beat the game before loosing interest.
