Souls newb here. Tried Dark Souls Remastered, it was a frustrating annoying mess IMO.

Tried Elden Ring, because why not...loving it so far. Same difficulty, less frustation, more interesting world.

Just rambling for those who "think" they hate Souls games. You still might, but Elden Ring might be worth a shot if you are interested.
