When you're just chillin and 60 seconds later you spent $750....
thanks OP.
Food for thought: I own one of these and it is great, but you will need a decent amount of extra depth on your desk surface if you intend to use the included stand. I couldn't do it and went with an arm. The only problem there is that there are basically no monitor arms that can support this monitor other than the Ergotron HX (which is around $250 to $300) and then requires you to also buy the Ergotron HX Heavy Duty Tilt Pivot (which is around another $50 to $75). Even then, this only saved me several inches and I ended up sticking a wide board I bought from Lowe's flush with my desk surface off of the back and mounted the arm there. You can of course mount it to the wall with a traditional wall mount if you can swing it, but getting this big of a monitor is a little bit more involved with regards to space than getting a traditional monitor. If you are interested in buying the arm and tilt pivot, I bought them for the lower prices listed above from https://www.shopblt.com/ a little over a year and a half ago.
Also, while I appreciate how cool it is to use this monitor for multitasking, I think the next time around I may go with a more traditional aspect ratio, multi-monitor setup as games either don't support this aspect ratio, support it badly (hud elements are often pushed to the corners) and I often personally find it to be too wide for practical gaming.
Finally, it may be worth a mention that there is a very rare issue that I believe affects most of these monitors (the last time I looked into it was a few years ago) where the screen will do a weird "interlaced" look depending on what it is displaying. I actually don't recall having seen this for a while, but I have no knowledge of whether this was ever actually fixed. For reference: https://www.reddit.com/r/ultrawid...scan_line/
I feel like it's worth mentioning that this was from my own experience around 2 years ago. It sounds like a lot of people have found arms that support this aside from the Ergotron I mentioned.

The G9 has a much more aggressive curve.
SAMSUNG 49-inch Odyssey G9 Gaming Monitor | QHD, 240hz, 1000R Curved, QLED, NVIDIA G-SYNC & FreeSync | LC49G95TSSNXZA Model
At this price it is well worth it.
