In my opinion, I would never buy a first generation anything especially with amd ryzen. Knowing that AM5 will stick around like AM4 stuck around for years to come.

DDR5 is still crazy expensive.

Also there's some teething problems always on first generation anything. Until new drivers or next generation motherboards come out.

It wouldn't surprise me if the 8000 series ryzen will run cooler and use less wattage.
