Just an FYI that these are the older gen, LV65 vs the newer gen LV67.

Last year I got the LV67 at BestBuy for $119.

Great shaver

But if you're dressed nice, make sure clippings are empty before you turn it on because they can buzz out all over your chest and sink
That's the only flaw I know of

Is this considered better than the Braun 7 series? (7075cc in particular since that's on sale for $100 right now too)

Anyone used both and able to compare? Comfort and speed are more important to me than closeness.

I paid $149 for the Braun 9 series with charging station at Costco(still unopened). Is it important for me to return and purchase this? First time electric razor user

I think most people would agree Black Friday online sale so far is not that good.
For example, just search Arc5 deal this year.

This shaver was onsale for $95 for few days and follow by $99 for weeks and only get +6 rating (3 thumbs up).

I think all the stores know people just WANT to buy stuff from BF to Christmas (may be for Christmas gift) and there is NO REASON for them to provide the lowest online price for the year anymore and people will still buy them.

I think a lot of time BF may be excuse for husband or wife to buy stuff they won't normally buy saying this is for gift and if buy from BF, it must be good deal(?)

So unless you have to buy this shaver now, this may not be the slick deal price of this year and may want to wait until Cyber Monday and see if there is anything better..

Great for shaving between dives to get that perfect mask seal for when drift diving off my blue ocean catamaran. Just splash some fresh water to rinse the salt off any whiskers and then shave down for optimal contact. Charges great off my Starlink's solar charger when out on the ocean. Bought an extra charger to keep in my Tesla as well, just in case. Good catch on leaving one at the beach house. I just went ahead and bought a second unit from this deal to cover my bases!

Something important about the Panasonic shavers that I do not see mentioned here is that the motors are fast motors; 14,000 CPM. That is faster than most shavers. I had problems with my old shaver, if I did not shave every day then it was very difficult to shave. With my Panasonic LV65 I can still shave after more than a couple of days.

Cleaning station doesn't mean you have nothing to clean. Once in a while you still need to clean the cleaning station. For the old one they have, thing may get stuck in places that is hard to clean and eventually the cleaning station get pretty gross. Not sure about the newer one.

Since this is wet shaver, seems like using water and soap to clean it yourself is not that hard..

Might be a little cheaper on Cyber Monday but not much probably...Even if it drops to $95 it's not that much cheaper than the current sale. Personally, sometimes it's good just to have it done versus obsessing over saving a little.

I too am finding this an unusual Black Friday. Lots of deals are labeled "Black Friday Deal" when they've been that price for that past week (at least) or longer. I'm buying only a small % of what I thought I'd be buying.

Then I'm seeing some Amazon Prime only deals. (I'm not a Prime member.) Strangely, many of those "Prime Only" prices were available pre-BF to anyone, except sometimes there was a separate applicable coupon code sometimes. So the price is the same for Prime members - and for me, it's even more on Black Friday!

So, stores know that everyone's ready to spend lots of money on a deal and they're working it to the best they can.

This deal at $105, I'm on the fence. Last BF, it was around $85-$95. But I know, with inflation, everyone's money buying power is 15% less now. Stores and sellers know that too so we're all supposingly fine with paying 10-15% more for everything.

Dell Refurbished had been giving 50% off during September and October on systems. Today, their big Black Friday deal is 40% off, and there was less stuff available.

Often, January/February is a great buying season of quietly available sales clearouts. Stores might have a lot of inventory that must go. It's be interesting to see the numbers after this weekend. They'll all still have a good BF as people will freely spend. Inflation often makes us think that we should buy NOW as everything's going to cost even more later. Sometimes, I just saying "no" to some things that aren't really needed. Maybe others are too.
