BestBuy delivered 75inch TV with bad screen, options?

Hi,
I just got my Hisense - 75" Class A6 Series LED 4K delivered; hooked up the stand and powered it up only to see a screen that looks damaged.
Is there any advice on how to handle this? Obviously we were very careful while handling TV to affix the legs but looking for best ways to take this forward so it is quick and painless. Kids were so looking forward to it

if you haven't already i would contact best buy asap. probably the longer you wait to do so the more likely it is that they blame you for the damage. hopefully they don't push back and make it right without too much fuss
eta: i also moved your thread to the lounge where hopefully you'll get some other advice (just be prepared for a mix

I did contact BestBuy within ~1 hour of the delivery but was told I'll need to call back after 24 hours since their system shows the item is still in transit (and not delivered).
I called back today and was told the item will be picked up and the refund issued -- we'll see if the TV being unwrapped fully throws any wrench in the plans (both for pick up as well as 100% refund).
The sad thing in all of this is that:
1. Kids missed out on enjoying TV this weekend (something they had been waiting weeks for!)
2. The 75" inch deal for $499 was amazing and now of course the deal is no longer available. I guess I have to wait and see if an equally good/better deal pops up over the next week(s).

i'm really sad for you and your kids though...hate to get them amped up only to result in disappointment. deals come and go (and hopefully you do score a comparable tv deal soon) but you can't get back the missed time
thanks for the update and best wishes!

Eta: Sorry, I now see where you wrote the deal was no longer available (does this mean the model is no longer available or just the good price?); but even if the exact model is no longer available maybe Best Buy has something very similar to substitute with.

The Lounge has certainly gone downhill.

Man, but The Lounge appears to have hit bottom.

If you haven't found a replacement yet, there's a deal on a Best Buy 75" TCL 75S45 4K UHD HDR Smart Roku TV $500 + Free Shipping.

Ha, thank you! I did indeed order this (by keeping an eye on SD, of course). Sad that delivery wasn't available, so I opted for pick up and then I discovered the 75inch TV won't fit in my SUV and went to the store to have it converted to delivery and I'm waiting for that to be processed. Maybe I am destined to not get TV this year?
