I tried this but the t harness that was in the special offers ribbon was the incorrect one for my vehicle (was showing the one for push to start while I have a key). Based on idatastart website, thats the one I used. Just FYI

I personally cancelled my compustar order for the idatastart.. but it's your choice. both are good..
There was a deal for $250 compustar with 2.2 way remotes. Most of my friends have compustar. So i just wonder if anyone has any good inputs for the iData. No complains from my friends compustar btw.

Yea thats the one. Originally ordered the T7 which was push to start and then had to cancel the order
Idatastart is the number one remote starter in Canada. They work together with compustar now to sell in the Us.
Basically the same company now.
$50 for Double the range and another 2 way remote is a no brainier for me that's why I cancelled my Compustar order and got the idatastart.

Of note, IF you have existing keyless entry on your car, you can ask the BB installer to enable the remote start function on your factory remotes effectively giving you backup remotes. Essentially he will give you a remote sequence of keys that will activate the remote starter on your factory remotes (something like lock, unlock lock, lock, etc.).

Got this installed today and it is fantastic. Only downside is the temperature control cannot be controlled on the phone or through an app. Believed this can be done with the Compustar. We really wanted the temperature control but the Compustar was not on sale at the time of purchase. Other than that, this unit is fantastic.
Appointment was a bit confusing because all the parts have to arrived at the store before they can perform the install. I made the appointment at the store when I got all the pick-up confirmation.
