I have the Xbox version of this and have really liked it (especially with Xbox Game Pass. Recently I picked up the Fold4. Thought I wouldn't be able to use this again, so over the holiday break, took a hacksaw, oscillating tool, and some sandpaper and was able to cut slots out of the bottom to still be able to use it! Only took ~5 mins to do. Still looks good, works great, and I can even keep my case on my phone when I use it with this... Christmas at the in-laws is looking up! (not a dig on my in-laws, we stay over for a few days so there is some downtime and this will still let me get some game time in).
V1. Following link to Costco there's a hyperlink to the manual that states this is the V1 version.
I bought this bundle a BF or two ago and don't use it much but I have noticed a couple of things.

1. I have to remove my case for it to fit on my phone (S20 Ultra 5G) and it's snug even then.

2. The buttons are a little mushy for my taste but are good. The sticks are great.

3. I don't like the d-pad. It's again a little mushy for me and seems like hitting anything but the very edge of it would cause a misinput.

4. The earbuds are so uncomfortable I gave them away. They seem to be modeled after the wired headphones you used to get with an iPhone (which also hurt my ears) so if those work for you these might be fine.

Are they packaged and shrink-wrapped so you can sell the earbuds as new?

These are really good for streaming games from your Xbox to your phone or from your PC too if you have an Nvidia card (GeForce experience streaming to Moonlight app on your phone). Very little lag or other issues if your wifi is decent.

I think the gamepad is worth about $20 (and was this price at some points). I highly doubt the crappy wireless buds come even close to the other $30 buds on the market right now.

Average deal, not anything slick or hot.

This does not fit the larger phones like S22 ultra or pixel 7 pro without having to remove one of the rubber pieces that cushions the phone.

You can just pull/plug the rubber piece to make S22 fit, but you would expose your phone to potential scratch/damage by doing so. For pixel 7 pro, along with the length of the phone, apparently the protruding camera makes it difficult in a different way than S22 to fit.

I use one for smaller phone. Buttons don't feel as good as regular xbox/ps controllers but they are functional. I got it for travel purposes and really love the smaller form factor.

V2 would fit the larger phones but it does not collapse to smaller size in the way V1 does. I thought those might be some pointers to share, because they affected my buying decision.

Just want to piggy back off this and say if people are looking for a solution for larger phones (and especially Galaxy Fold devices), there is the Nacon MG-X PRO. Took me a bit to look around and find one after I got my Fold 2, but it fits perfectly and is great build quality. The controller expands to widen, and only has a lip to hold it on the bottom side, leaving the top open for any height device. Unfortunately a bit pricey, but maybe there'll eventually be a deal on them too.

Otherwise if it'll fit your phone, I do hear great things about the Kishi.
