I bought this mouse recently. I like the mouse overall, but initially I had a horrible experience. The cursor kept jumping all over the place. On both Mac and PC. I noticed so many negative reviews online and multiple people complaining on Reddit. Couldn't find a solution. And there is no way to do a firmware update on this mouse (on either Mac or PC), cause Logitech's firmware update tool does not recognize this mouse yet.
Then finally, someone on a SD thread posted a hint informing me that the Logitech Bolt receiver doesn't work well with USB 3 ports. So if you plug it to a USB 2 port, or use a USB 2 extension cable (if you only have USB 3 ports), the problem goes away. And sure enough, that worked. The receiver is connected tot the KVM switch on my monitor via an old extension cable and the problem went away. It's still not perfect though. A couple of times I've had to just turn the mouse off and On again, but that's been a rare occurrence.
Bottom line - good mouse but firmware sucks. Either use Bluetooth or connect the Bolt receiver to a USB 2 port, or use a USB 2 extension cable.
Yes. Of course. But lots of reasons why one might not want to use Bluetooth.
For one - if you have multiple Bluetooth devices, you may not want to share Bluetooth bandwidth. For people with permanent setups and extra usb ports on the back of the computer, it's better to just plug the dongle than permanently assign a portion of your Bluetooth bandwidth to the mouse.
Also, for those that use a KVM switch, using the dongle is better so you don't have to bother hitting the button on the bottom of the mouse to swap setups. I regularly switch between my Mac, my bootcamp windows partition on my Mac, my work laptop and the steam deck. That's one extra device than the 3 channels available on the mouse. Having the dongle plugged in makes it seamless, and don't have to worry about changing channels on the mouse or pairing/unpairing

I don't think so. I see they took out the black one, and only have the pale grey and white ones. But there's no Buy/Add to cart option. Another weird thing is, the price is showing at $169.95 now. Logitech is kinda weird.
Not sure what you are looking at. But this is what most of us see.
Been looking for over a month on any deal on the MX Master 3s; finally gave in a couple days ago and got it from Best Buy when it was a whopping $5 off; only $95. Guess I'll be returning it as soon as it arrives in the mail today!
For folks contemplating on purchasing this, be aware that this has silent clicks, I can barely hear it when using. Im in meetings all the time so this mouse is perfect, doesnt distract anyone when I'm using it. But I hate using this at home because I like the clicking sound so I kept my Master 3 for home use.
Aha. Silent click. Been using 3 and time to get 3s👌..
My 3 is black. Time to get pale gray ( non dark color)🤣

I love my master 2 and would get this if I didn't own it!
I ordered when I saw the deal and mine is delayed as well. Just got the email a little after my last post. Thanks for responding!
