JUST FYI!!! the 6500xt (with warranty) it just a replacement for the rx580 (no warranty) in performance if you are running at PCIe 3.0. At Pcie 4.0 you might gain maybe 10-15% more performance.

The 66xx models are much better with about over double the performance. There were 66xx deals during Black Friday/Cyber Monday as well in the $180-250 range. Christmas isn't too far away. If you can wait, I recommend you wait.
This is an entry-level budget GPU. Would probably only consider this card if you need one now, do casual gaming, and have no current GPU.

I'm aware that this card kinda sucks, but I can't find anything else for $100 or less, which is all I want to spend. A used GTX 1050 or 1650 would be fine for me, but those are still selling for $100+.
Regarding the rebate, it looks like Amazon is an authorized reseller for Asus laptops and desktops.

I can't find anything specific about video cards though. If you click "where to buy" on the specific product page, it does not give a link to Amazon:
https://www.asus.com/us/motherboa...re-to-buy/
But for some other models they do link to Amazon, for example:
https://www.asus.com/us/motherboa...re-to-buy/
So it seems likely that Amazon is an authorized reseller for this model too.
Edit: I walked through the rebate registration process, and they do allow you to select Amazon as place of purchase. I think Amazon is ok as long as the item is sold by Amazon and not a 3rd party seller.
