Samsung EPP question - using different ID.me credentials & Samsung login credentials

Hi there, has anyone else ever used a spouse or significant other's ID.me credentials (email and password) to get a Samsung EPP discount while using a different email address (and first name / last name) than the ID.me credentials? I just tried it out with my g/f's ID.me and my own personal Samsung account info, and it does show the discount in-cart. I just want to make sure it won't be clawed back by Samsung / ID.me because the credentials don't match.
