In indoor ranges, you should always double up with foam earplugs, regardless of earpro used.

Yup.
Or for law mowing, once you have a couple of small kids and that becomes your primary (only?) hobby...

I've had these for several years, I think about 5-6 years now...I swear they're still on the same set of batteries as they never die.

I really like them for hunting as well as the microphones pick up everything in stereo!

Active hearing protection for shooting sports. I've had a pair of these for a few years. Works well. have to adjust it right though.

I am thinking this doesn't have enough protection to be used at an indoor shooting range?

I have had these for years too, but the cushions broken no where to change it. Maybe I have to buy new one...

Plenty of protection, has adjustable pass through (just crank it all the way down). These works great as I am able to have a conversation with people while full auto or even a 50 bmg is going off within 25 yards of me.

These are great but they can easily slip off your ear and break seal when shooting a rifle if you arent careful. I always wear in ear ear pro underneath them when shooting.

I've tried a few under $50 ear pro active headsets and these sound way better than any of the others.

They are ok, peltor makes a sport version that's on sale for ~40 every so often that's more comfortable and slightly thinner. I got rid of my Howard leights when the batteries leaked inside (the one's they ship with) and the terminals were corroded. Currently running sordin's which are so much more comfortable and thinner also with large buttons instead of a knob. Sordin>peltor>Howard leight. (I know they price will also reflect it, but the peltor's aren't much higher and worth the extra 10 bucks).

I just ordered some baking soda to try to repair the exact thing you're talking about. I went to turn mine on a couple days ago and found out the battery terminals were completely corroded from a leaking battery. I hope I can repair them. I'm going to order this pair as a backup just in case.

I found these to be very uncomfortable. Ended up using the Walker's Razor Headset
