just want I need...something hard to get when nespresso is easy to get
Incidentally I have all the frothers necessary if I wanted to make some of the fancier coffee drinks. But I have never used them as I prefer a stronger espresso coffee. So if you don't require the fancier coffee drinks, save yourself $100 and go for the basic Lavazza LB 300. My former LB 910 was given to my father who had the counter space for the larger machine and I have always wanted a smaller machine for my limited office space (which is now occupied by my Nespresso machine). Hopefully if many more individuals go for the Classy models, Lavazza will expand their coffee selections to more varieties, smaller quantities, and more retail outlets.
Note that this is not a review of Lavazza vs Nespresso pods. That is a subjective issue which is debated in several other web sites which you can Google. My personal preference is for the Lavazza Blue pods as I like strong espresso, but naturally YMMV. It's also interesting to note that a standard Lavazza pod holds 7.5 grams of coffee vs the 5 grams in the stand Nespresso pod. While this doesn't sound like much, it does mean that the Lavazza pod hold 50% more coffee than the Nespresso pod which is important if you like strong, intense espresso.
So here is a review of just the Lavazza Blue and Expert pods:
