Last year a similar device went on sale and the thread here on SD had more than 1 story of folks who's cars sat for 2 weeks in the winter only to find dead batteries. Just be mindful of how often your car sits around, if you use it often it's probably not an issue, but in the bitter cold...well just remember that thing is always listening and run your car accordingly
