Years ago, I remember a website where real people posted great deals on stuff. Then through the power of popular activities and votes, the best deals made the "front page". Boy, I sure miss the good ole daze!
It's a beaut, Clark.
If folks haven't dealt with these before and are thinking of buying these on a whim, this is important. All these cheapo LED lights have a zillion stupid seizure-inducing blinking modes, so you have to click through them like 8 times to get to the normal "just like, on" mode that normal people use 99.9% of the time.
So if you're thinking of putting these on a timer, they're probably going to go into demo mode every time they turn on, if they turn on, and you'll have to go outside and click the mode button 7 times for each and every set you have in order to get them to look like normal-ass Xmas lights. Memory function means it at least remembers the last mode you set, so if you put it on steady on, it'll go right back to steady on the next time.

Tons of sellers selling these for similar pricing this year. I've bought a couple of strands from other 'brands' and they're good enough. One negative is there's no way to daisy-chain these.

Still worth it for $9 for 300.
You can chain three sets on the low voltage side, there is no way to chain another set at mains voltage.
A few lights have been this price with Amazon's lightning deals. You have to check the different modes it has and if it has memory when you disconnect. But 300 leds for 9?! Not bad.
Anyone know if the cheap remote that comes with this is the only way to brighten or dim the lights? I ordered a similar pair, the remote was DOA (yes I checked the battery connection) and so I could toggle the modes from the inline controller but not adjust brightness.

Also someone was asking if it's UL listed. Does that matter for low voltage?
