Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

Agent over the chat is saying I have to pay first month for the line then it's free.. anyone else heard this?
Like 99% of T-Mobile promos what they do is on your bill they a charge you for the line and make it free by applying a biil credit for the amount of that line. That bill credit may take up to 2 billing cycle to kick in. So, yes you might have to pay the first bill but when the bill credits kick in they will pay you what you had paid already. After a year or so T-mobile converts your line into a real free line and stops the bill credit thing

They do the bill credits because of you don't meet with the requirements like making no changes to your account for 12months they drop the promo from your account but keep charging you for the line. That is were the get some profit out of these free lines deals. People that don't read the terms and later mess up and invalidete the promo.

"2 lines one plan all in promo"
(2 lines for $80 + 1 free line - 10% discount per paid line with less than 2gb usage)

Has anyone with this plan been able to get a free line?

Thanks.

P.S. talking to reps may be a waste of time. If reps are offshore, high chance mistakes will be made.
That plan never gets any of these deals... it's too good and they want us off of it

And I don't see the $40 2022 BYOD Line P1
Attachment 12671185

Did you check again ? Seem like the updates are slow due to so many accounts getting this line added.

Is it possible for a friend currently on TMobile to port his paid line over to my Magenta Max account using this free line promotion ? This could be a win-win for both. Since my Magenta max account is just 2 weeks old, is there a permutation to get a free device or trade-in for my friend
Some people have done it by porting out the number to a different carrier, then after 90 days of that number being out of T-Mobile porting it back in to the free line.

I chatted via Tmobile app, my account is eligible for free line. Spent 1.5 hours and the rep told me there was an issue: "There is an issue of matching details with your account details. Due to the security reasons." That rep said the issue was with my credit card information and I have to go Tmobile store.

With tmo app chat and this is their response....

"Upon checking on here the 2022 Line On Us P1 was an expired offer but no worries i will check some of our current promotion for you, okay?"
That is the wrong promo code, the promo is 2022 BYOD Line P1. It is also known as #HolidayUnwrapped promo. Take a look on the wiki on the first page, there are screenshots.
