Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

I am on Simple Choice with 10 voice lines already (10 voice lines are max). How can I take advantage of this promo? Should I add a new voice line for free? Will it be allowed to have 11 lines in simple choice where it allows only 10 voice lines at max? Can some one explain?
Lol wtf

I did the same thing & got the text (about 30 minutes) after activation that I've received a promotion on my line, went & check on line & it shows up. Everything worked out fine so far.
Did you activate esim? That was smooth. Twitter tforce also confirmed my account's eligible but I couldn't reach them after, hours waiting. Wondering if I should go ahead and order online by activating esim.

Not possible once you hit the max 10 voice lines

I have 8 lines with T-Mobile one, ($160 5 paid, 3 free) and I'm eligible, but I need to move to the 9-12 lines. Not sure how it will affect my overall total though.
Be sure to do the upgrade to 9-12 ONE via TForce via DM so you have it documented. Be careful in the past IIRC when I tried to add the extra line online it said it would switch me to Magenta. Your monthly total will drop due to billing quirk (don't ask about it just be patient til everything kicks in literally in 1-2 billing cycles) but you need to find a knowledgeable/willing rep and set aside time bc it seemed they need to migrate your promos one by one to the 9-12. Took my rep maybe almost an hour I think and it did seem she was focusing all her attention as opposed to a rep jumping back and forth between customers. This was a couple years ago.

I ended up doing it via chat on iMessage on my iPhone so I have everything documented there. I was assured all promos for my existing lines would carry over. We'll see how it goes

Anyone else not get charged the $35? I did the promo in-store and the person said the free isn't charged on byod lines. I didn't even ask to have it waived. I do see the promo on my account but I'm worried they will remove it later since I didn't pay the fee

Here's another data point for waiving the $35 activation fee. T-Force said the fee is not waivable on their end. However, they confirmed that as long as you first confirm the promo eligibility, you can order the new line on the website, and the system will automatically add the discount to the line.
Maybe this is what happened to me in store. The rep didn't know about the promo and had to ask someone. Then she said their is no fee since it's byod. Promo shows up on my account and I didn't pay fee.

I was not targeted. I didn't get an email nor an indicator in my account. But I talked to a rep and told them the 2022 BYOD Line P1. It took a long time to find deal. Rep was unfamiliar with promo. But it worked. You will pay about $4.50 in extra monthly fee in addition to the $35 activation fee.
Beginning of an end of tax free TMo era...

Have no idea what's going to happen with the next bill so fingers crossed I didn't mess up the account 🤞 since it looks like they gave me the same holiday promo twice.
If it sticks keep it mum and don't ever call in about anything and absolutely don't let anything go to escalation if you do call in.

I figured I wouldn't be eligible on the old One Plus Promo 2/$100 with Insider and Kickback because it's never eligible for anything. I tried the chat anyway and the rep told me he would "put me on the wishlist" and I'd be notified when I become eligible. There's no way that's a real thing, but I thought it was funny.
Hah, yes, the chat rep told me something similar—they'd put me on the "priority list" for the next batch of accounts they add the promo to. I'm also on the One Plus Promo.
