Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

If you're talking about with this promotion, not yet, I just got the order to go through in the past few hours. I suspect I'll see it by Tuesday when the SIM is delivered.

Interesting point re: Tmo HI. I already had Home Internet which I signed up the in-laws for, so I've already got "a line" with it, and from what I have read, I can't get a 2nd Home Internet line @ $25.

If you have given up your corporate discount, I'd suspect you could find another plan that rivals Simple Choice 10Gig -> Upgraded to Unlimited.
I already have Simple Choice Unlimited, but for some reason my old Corporate discount was still attached to my account and I had to get them to remove it yesterday.
Lo and behold, my Home Internet discount showed up within an hour of them removing the discount.

I am on the standard Megenta (not Plus or MAX) for 19 months with 2 paid lines and was able to add our 1st free line, via calling 611. Rep did not ask for IMEI and ordered a new sim to be sent out. She also waived the $35 DCC fee simply by asking (she had to get her supervisor to authorize the waiver, though).

I checked my account online and only saw the order for the sim, but nothing on the new line yet. Hopefully it will show up the next day or so.
My account didn't show my new line until the next day. I'm still waiting for the SIM to get to me too.

Oh, interesting. Didn't know the corporate discount was the reason for not getting deals. That may explain why my account never shows any promo codes.

Can you drop a paid line and then immediately get this deal or is there a wait period?

I called in the morning and was told that there is no such promotion, and she couldn't find it anywhere. I have provided both Holiday unwrapped and Promo ID 2022 BYOD Line P1. The lady couldn't find it. I decided to chat via T-mobile app. The agent on the app clearly knows what I am talking about. I just told her that I want to utilize the promo with Holiday unwrapped and Promo ID 2022 BYOD Line P1. Then she asked my device IMEI with her. Shortly after providing this info, she was able to put me on the promotion. The whole process took about two hours via chat, but it worth the wait for getting a free line.

PS: It is the holiday season, be nice to the agent whether they are able to assist you or not. I am sure they have been hit wit this promotion. Sometimes, they didn't communicate with their staffs, and they wouldn't know. Just say thank you and hang up. Make another phone call or chat to get assistance from another agent.
Well said. I had same experience over the call and the rep didn't know about the promo so I said thanks and call back later. Then was able to get the promo via app chat. Be nice to agents if they don't know then try different source

I was Tmobie One Plus promo customer, I got the free line added by rep. When I logged into my account the plan is now changed to Essentials 4 line offer. Did they screw this up?
Have you got confirmed in writing that it won't change your rate plan and all current promotions will remain unchanged? If yes then try to contact Tforce they should be able to fix it but expect longer wait times.

Is this promotion still working for people? I called customer service at 4 PM on 12/15/22 and they confirmed my account was eligible for this promotion. I needed to figure out what device I was going to add and said I would take care of it today 12/16/22. I went into a physical store and they said I don't have the promotion on my account and it was likely only valid for 24 hours. Went home and called customer service again and they said I don't have the promotion on my account and echoed the 24 hour thing. I'm curious if the promotion is still valid for others? I'm suspicious that in my case the customer service rep I spoke to on 12/15/22 was mistaken and my account doesn't qualify for the promotion.

I called back a 3rd time and am on the phone with a customer service agent whom is going through the process of adding the line for me. Confusing to say the least. I also wouldn't be surprised if I see this line as full price on my next bill instead of being free so who knows?

I was able to add a free 10th line on my account. I have the regular T-Mobile One plan.

Promo most likely won't work if you cancelled any lines within the last 12 months. Ask me how I know Frown

great advise here - how long have you waited before porting in your original number back on one of the free lines? 1 month or 3 months?
You have to wait 90 days

I heard the same thing yesterday, and I'm on the same SOC (10SCFM4) and got it today. I also have +2 free voice lines from a few years back.

I still have my 15% Corp discount, so I plan on keeping it for as long as I can.

I'd suggest trying back either later today (as the billing system updates?) or maybe tomorrow/Monday.

FWIW, I also have 0% faith I'm actually eligible for this promotion. I haven't been eligible for any free AAL promotions in quite awhile... and in fact, in a previous promotion where you could get a free AAL and free device, I signed up for it and had to fight it for months... eventually got the device waived (and kept it) and had to give the line up.
So 2 years ago (or something like that) T-Mobile had free line offers throughout the year (3 or 4 of them). I was able to get on one of them after my coworker said he got it (I signed up a week after he did); we both have the same plan and have 15% corporate discount like you. I also tried on another one of them and wasn't qualified (I had to wait a month for my bill to show up and called CSR to confirm I wasn't qualified) so I had to cancel it. I'll be willing to try and just add the line online and see when my next bill comes but the $35 fee (plus the 1st month of service) is a con I'm not willing to pay unless I know I'm eligible for sure.

Also if I'm not eligible and I cancel, and the next free line offer comes within 90 days and I'm eligible, I won't be eligible due to the fact I cancel

Edit : so I remember I canceled a line Dec 23 2021. If it's true that I won't be eligible due to canceled lines within a year, I guess I'll wait past Dec 23 to try to call them again and ask again, assuming this promo is still good. Anyone has the official fine print? I thought it was 90 days. I do know that if you get a free line, you can't cancel another line for a year but that's going forward not backwards in time
