Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

This should be true. 12 is the max number of lines you can get.

Or 8 is the max, as tforce has told me. Depends on how they feel, I guess.

I already called and was told 55+ ONE plan isn't qualified. But I have seen some posts here and on reddit saying they are on the same plan but got the free line added.
Can someone please update if you are on the same plan but got the free line added and it still sticked and promo is showing correctly too?
TIA

Well, I took a chance and went for it adding a line on my own using eSim (no $35 charge) through the T-mobile app and it doesn't look I'm eligible. I'm in the Simple Choice 10SCFM4 plan and was told I was not eligible when I called in yesterday. I see my account history shows I'll be charged $20 monthly for the new line but I haven't seen any promo attached to the line (under Service Promotions) or received any text with about the promo. I'll wait a week to see if it changes and I get it since my next bill date is in a week; if my next bill shows I have to pay for it I'll cancel the line. At least I'll just have to pay a prorated $20 charge. Yeah most people who did the eSim route know right away if they're eligible so it doesn't look good for me

We're all on FRLTUL2LP and are maxed at 3 lines. You can find the details at the wiki in this 2020 thread.

I tried to message T-Force through Twitter twice but haven't gotten any response after over 24 hours. I asked them if I can switch to FRLTULF2 and then add a holiday unwrapped line. I get the same change to Magenta issue online that would double my bill if I try to add a line, and when I tried iMessage, they wanted to switch me to Magenta and so I declined.

I'm also pretty sure we're getting de-prioritized heavily in busy areas like Essentials does. I have to use Xfinity Mobile on the pay by GB in busy areas.

Excerpt from the wiki on the 2020 thread by GreenCreature437 (my first post in the current thread)
Wow, this seems complicated. So where do you get all of those letters associated with a plan? I have One or One Plus as the One plan had some upgrades. So I pay for 4 lines for $120, got 2 free lines for a total of 6 lines. Netflix for under $10 - 4 users and HD and I still have the promo for 2 free 5G phones - the Samsung and the LG one. I have no idea what those letters for this plan would be. I did not see the promo on the web. I do not want to mess with it and lose the plan. Maybe because of the free phones I might not be eligible.

Currently have regular Magenta Plan, have 5 lines on it. Called about this deal, gave them the promo ID listed in this post, and had no problem adding the line. SWEET!

By default they will ship you a new SIM card, however I asked if I could go to a local store and pick one up. They told me that if I come in with my order number, they should be able to just give me a SIM in store at no charge.

Another data point. I am interpreting it to be unsuccessful but would like some feedback from the experts.
- On Magenta Max - 2 paid lines with one free. Monthly cost - $112 (after insider discount)
- Added a new line last night - self service online, esim
- congratulations text received this morning about 12 hours later, although the promo showed up under "Services Promos" within five minutes of activating the esim.
- The promo shows up as "2022 BYOD Line P1". I have noticed that others reported this promo as "$30 2022 BYOD Line P1". In my case "$30" is missing.
- Monthly plan cost has gone up by $24, from $112 to $136. So, basically $30 for the new line less 20% insider discount on new line ($6) to get to the $24 increase.
- Under my "Plan details" I see a new "$6 2022 T-Mobile Insider P7 (Additional Lines)" instead of the $30 discount which I would have expected to see for this line.

Any recommendations? Should I call and cancel the new line? Thank you.

Thanks for your input. I'm on SC too and went to the store and didn't see the promo in my account. Was tempted to try it like others any ways ordering online with an esim but was being careful as I know SC plans are handled differently by T-Mo.

I would say to at least wait 7 to 12 days as I was told by T-Mobile rep tha the promo can take up to 7 days to show up on the account and up to 2 billing cycles for the bill credits. My last promo took 7 days to show up on my account.

Good luck.

I don't have any recommendations for you as I went in-store to add the promo, but sharing how it shows differently on my account based upon where I look for it.

1. Under promotions for me it shows "2022 BYOD Line P1"
https://www.t-mobile.com/account/promotions

2. Under account cost details it shows "$30.00 2022 BYOD LINE P1 (Additional Lines)"

I am on Tmobile One Plus plan with 2 paid 1 free line ( and have kick back). tried Tmobile One:
After 10+ hours ; I got the below response

Hey there! Thank you for your patience while your message made its way to me, and for your understanding as we work to respond as quickly as possible.

The offer you are requesting is for select customers, your account specifically does not show eligibility for this holiday offer. The system has an automatic determination based on several factors and eligible accounts have a pre-selected indicator that appears on the account to advise of eligibility. While we don't have the exact details as to why certain accounts aren't eligible, please know that we are ALWAYS rolling out new offers with different requirements, and even targeted offers like this may come available for you in the future.

You may be eligible for our Buy 2 Get 1 line offer if you'd like to look into that here: https://www.t-mobile.com/offers?I...av%3ADeals

That waiting 2 billing cycles advice they always give is bogus. That may be true on device deals where you have to trade in a device and it takes time, etc for them to receive and process it. But for a new line added, you should know when the sim card ships or in my case, right away if esim is involved. I wouldn't wait more than one bill cycle. 2 years ago I got a free line and knew it (got a text say I have the promo) when the sim card shipped.
