Purchased this monitor during thanksgiving and returned it. If you are already using IPS display/monitor, you will notice the fonts are not crisp on VA panel and it is more strain on the eyes. I would not buy a VA panel again.
I use MacBook for my work and I added 34 inch IPS LG ultra wide curved monitor. Life is great and can't complain. The extra $150 for IPS panel is 110% worth it.
You are referring to PIP and PBP. Yes this can display 2 screens from 2 different sources at same time.
Answer to other question to use same mouse/Keybaord when source switch:
You wont be able to use same keyboard/mouse for 2 sources as there is no USB input to monitor. you have to manually switch keyboard/mouse between sources.
I recommend you to get monitor with USB input which has PIP and PBP capability. That allows you to switch sources easily and lets you switch Keyboard/mouse automatically.
I may have asked this before. Can you use two separate computers on this one monitor? I use two separate computers for consulting for two different clients, and use a usb switch to use the same keyboard mouse and switch with a button for k/m, but have two monitors. Can this be used to show two computers on one?

Yes; this monitor has 2HDMI and 1Displayport so you can hook up 2 other machines to this.
You would have to manually switch from different inputs but yes, you can use more than one computer.

Thanks but will it display both computers on the monitor at once? Or like a tv I have to switch inputs in order to see picture from computer 1 and then computer 2? Is that what you mean by manually switching?

Thank you!!!
But I can use a usb switch that connects my k/m to the switch and then usb cables connect to my two computers. Then I press a button and it switches to source 1 or 2. Are you saying that with PIP or PBP my k/m will not need a usb switch and it will be seamless to switch through both sources but see picture at the same time of both sources on the monitor? If yes that's freaking awesome.

I'll post the same thing I did last time this was up.
I actually bought one of these. Honestly, I was impressed for $230. It's 75hz, and over-clockable to 95-100hz. Obviously it's a VA panel and has all the tradeoffs that come with that, but the image quality was okay. I did not mind the lack of a curve at this size, either. Full disclosure, I did return this and get an IPS panel with a KVM for a bit more, but it was more about features than quality.
While it's not top of the line, it's a totally serviceable monitor.
How is ghosting and blur vs an IPS? Wanted VA due to abysmal contrast on IPS displays
It'll depend on what you're doing. You'll notice blur the most in games. Then again, a ton of people game on VA panels and just deal with it. At $200 the value seems pretty good to me.
