Been looking for a tv this size but was looking for the c2 48" but at more of a sale price. Girlfriend finally gave the ok for a bedroom tv. Would this one be ok? Or should I wait for a c2 48" on sale. Likely no gaming or monitor use.
Iif only watching tv movies this is ok, if you want to play games wait for C2

Bought this one last week for my series x. Much larger and a 120Hz native refresh rate.

That's not an OLED screen though. It might have the refresh rate for the Series X but the trade off might not be worth it unless it's only used for gaming.

Got the "Open-Box Excellent - Certified" for $438.99. Plus 5% cash back using Discover digital wallet. Not a bad deal.
Does anyone have details on warranty or return for an open box certified tv?

I bought this during the last sale last month. Came out to around $500 open box cert. I'm using it in my bedroom. It's the perfect size for my wife and I. It's great for watching TV shows/movies at night. I even hooked up my PS4 Pro to it just to see what it looks like and the picture looks amazing.

Wow, been considering the C2 for $1,049 but at basically HALF the price, I cannot fathom why one would buy the C2 with this deal available. Granted, the C2 has some gaming features and gets brighter HDR but those aren't features worth doubling the price.

Nice deal.

I've had this for a month as my bedroom TV. We use it to watch Netflix etc and it's been excellent for that. I recommend getting the open box.

I asked BB rep in a chat about the warranty for open-box tv's and they said it was still a 1 year warranty covered by Best Buy. Not sure about the return policy.

The brightness is the difference if buying for movies or cable. The A2 peaks around 550 nits vs almost 800 nits on the C2. If your room is bright the A2 probably isn't the best choice. The C2 also cleans up sports motion better with its 120Hz panel.

FYI, the Open Box Geek Squad Certified ($438.99) keeps coming in/out of stock for FREE SHIPPING. I had it about 20 minutes ago and then it went out on the last page.....so I have been refreshing my cart every few minutes and it just came back and I was able to make it through checkout
