You cannot "Call" a store to make an appointment. All local store numbers get redirected to their off shore customer support. You must add installation when you're adding this to cart. Then it'll give you the option for making an appointment. Sometimes the installation option does not pop up on mobile devices. If so, try using a desktop browser.

If you're going to spend $299 then I would go with the IDATASTART. It has twice the range as the compustar and you get 2 Two-way remotes instead of 1 two-way and 1 one way from compustar.

It must be the smartphone that caused me difficulties scheduling etc. Because it was a big loop trying to schedule install appointment. I did live chat through best buy and they sent me to live chat with scheduling department. Had to wait a month to get the actual install. Bought the idata one when it was on sale for bf or cm one of those 2. It will be nice once it's Installed

Make sure you schedule your appointment while purchasing this. That way any accessory, t-harness etc would be bundled and included in the purchase price. I did not schedule an appointment while purchasing and I was asked to purchase the t-harness separately.

Was gonna buy one but installation is backed up till February 21st so will just wait for the idata one to go on sale as that is one I prefer since have to wait that long for install anyway.
