...and Holy Hell, make sure you get the US version.

Accidentally got my daughter an international version (no, I don't know how) and Samsung's response to warranty requests was a middle finger. We' had it almost 4 months when it just quit.

Decent phone for the price. Had this for a short period and was overall happy with it for the price. I did have issues with APN on Mint Mobile though so keep that in mind.

Ah nuts, this is my provider, my phone just crapped out and was looking for replacement in this price range, did you get it fixed?

No there is a known issues with the Unlocked non mint version. It works just drops out signal randomly have to cycle airplane mode.

unfortunately that is true for basically all companies. I travel a lot for work and have acquired devices in various countries, and they always say to receice any warrenty or repair, you have to do it where you bought it.
i think Apple might be the only company that will help you anywhere, no matter where you bought it. a great perk, but I still refuse to pay $1k or more for a phone or laptop.

I've heard nothing but bad things about the Eyxnos 1280 processor. Buggy and slow. Wish it had a Snapdragon. The rest it the phone looks like a win.

Yeah, well, the real bitch is that I bought it in the USA. No idea where the reseller selling it on Amazon got it from.

For me it was NOT an international purchcase, but sure got screwed by the concept.
