I understand all the people that want their TV, OLED, 120HZ, Dolby vision and audio, but honestly i didn't care so much about this stuff compared to my priorities which was the size, name brand, the cost, if you like me, trust me you will like it. Thank you
No Dolby Vision in these No Frills sets. i was helping a friend with one of these and notice it would not go into dolby vision when connected to apple TV... still has HDR10 and HLG so that's something
Right, it's like saying your Honda CRV got 4 wheels just like my Benz...

Why would anyone buy these cheap LG LED sets? Save your money and either go smaller and higher quality or wait until you can afford a better TV in this size.
Because not every person wants a high end TV or gives a shit about all the bells and whistles, They just want either a name brand tv or something big for a decent price.
I just bought this a couple of weeks back, and it is night and day superior to my previous Insignia 65" Fire TV. First off, the LG OS is extremely sleek/smooth to deal with by comparison (my previous Fire TV had issues with apps like Plex, which would often have weird issues, or not load images of the movies). Also, I replaced the remote with MR21GA magic remote, which has a much better layout, voice control, and the ability to use the remote as an "air mouse", aiming and clicking at the screen (my wife loves this feature). I also already had a Samsung HW-S61B soundbar (black Friday), and connected it via HDMI, and the DTS Virtual-X mode is incredible and very intense. The other main reason to buy this is the gaming mode with a PC connected to it. I am serious when I say, it has virtually the same latency as a PC monitor (only with gaming mode set to on), whereas my previous Insignia 65" gaming mode was TERRIBLE for latency (could feel the lag). I'm very sensitive to mouse lag, and there is zero noticeable latency now with my computer for office work on this TV. The picture quality for movies is also superb, especially in Vivid mode + manual tweaking all settings to your liking. $599 for this TV + free delivery is an absolute steal.

It's all about requirements. I personally don't watch TV other than Netflix, so paying a lot for just a little screen time isn't worth it to me personally.
Tempting. I'm still in my return window for my black Friday sharp 65. But I mean, this is twice the price for 10 more inches and less HDMI ports. One port will be lost to my to Roku and the other two my sound bar. Which I'd then need to plug my Xbox into. Hmmm.

For the wife in her room who could care less? For the kids in their playroom who could care less? Duh.

This 7 series tv is NOT 120hz. Motion rate is not the same as refresh rate. In order to go to 120hz refresh on Samsung it has to be q70 and higher.
LG oled???

Anyone know if this is IPS or a VA panel?
Ive never seen an oled at target. But when I look at every TV there. The lg 7000 ones etc look the best.
