Agreed.....
No point in buying refurb with only 10 buck discount. I assume new comes with full 1 year warranty

Probably also comes with 90 day in store return. Can't beat that.

I don't have both to compare but i bought this was and embarrassed at how bad my old vacuum must have been. It works well. I just it had a retractable cord !

We have a similar shark that's been going strong for about 7 years now. There is really no reason for paying 500 plus for a Dyson unless you're concerned about the styling.

If you live with girls...this doesn't have a self cleaning brush. I have this and while it's great, I'm always getting the scissors/razor out to clear the hair. I got one from the woot deal and will use my current one in the basement.

Shark is a good value but Dyson really socks....both bills and any loose coin; has even been known to grab and decimate a credit card or two lol. I've had a shark for years and biggest complaints are getting anyone to use it and lack of a retractable cord.

Yes It is. Also, Ninja and Shark are the same company. Both good quality products.

Is this good for pet hair? I have a dog with medium length hair and live in an carpeted apartment.

Get the woot deal with dual roller. You will need it if you have people with long hair

Wouldn't pay $100 for this one. You can find these cheaper. Plus it looks like it's a basic model.
