60K - 110K American Airline Points | $0-2500 spend | $0 annual fee for year 1

60k points - AAdvantage World Elite Mastercard from Barclays. Just for opening the card, and making a single purchase, you will earn 60,000 American Airlines miles. The card's $99 annual fee is even waived in your first year of card membership.

https://www.applyaviator.com

50K points - This card currently has a welcome offer bonus to earn 50,000 AAdvantage Miles after spending $2,500 within the three months of card membership. And the card's $99 annual fee is also waived for the first year of card membership.

https://citicards.citi.com/usc/LP...index.html

Put these two cards together, and spend just $2,500 on the other (the Citi Platinum Select World Elite card) in the first three months. Bam: You've got 110,000 American Airlines miles. All without paying an annual fee in your first year.

That's an easier (and cheaper) path to pile up more than 100,000 miles than you'll find with almost any other airline. Of course, it requires opening two credit cards and responsibly meeting the minimum spending requirement

I'm considering it but almost never find good AA flights out of NY. I usually fly Delta or United.

I would still get the card, program/flights change all the time.

Not sure but I'll hapily buy off your AA points if you can't get to find a use of it. I need 250k or 140k points and can pay cash
And risk loss of miles and being lifetime banned. Sale of miles is a big no-no.

How do you accrue about 70k miles consistently every year to make this J trip?
I churn through multiple cards and stockpile points. My AMEX pts can go toward United or ANA. United co-branded cards, etc.

I got 400K Amex membership rewards last year just from the Resy sign up bonus and 10X dining and small business for example

This is what I get for being a loyal American airlines card member.

Whatever, after you use these bonuses the card is fairly useless when it comes to point accrual.
That's why you cancel after the end of the first year and reset the clock for sign up bonuses. Then you sign up for the card again 24 months later and get another one

I'm flying JAL to Tokyo next month for 75K AA miles from NYC. Pretty easy if you book early

Taking the 60k miles for free. The other card with spending requirement isn't worth it unless you're desperate for those additional miles and don't mind 2 hard pulls.
I also used promo code 186804 for 500 extra miles when signing up. Trivial amount but might as well.

What card/offer is better than this for two people looking to get 2x RT tickets from LAX to major European city? This seems lukewarm and hoping there's something better out there.

Why not apply for this 80K business card instead of the 50K one?

https://cards.barclaycardus.com/b...astercard/

Or can we not apply for two aviator cards and get both bonuses?

So I've already got the Citi® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select and am thinking of applying for this to get the 60k points. I doubt I would regularly use this Aviator for purchases since my Citi and other cards are better.

I see others talking about re-upping after a few years... so do you close the account and take the credit score hit? Just leave it? The points make up for the annual fee for at least a good number of years so I'm fine with having to keep it for awhile.

I did both the cards. Citi also offers a checking account opening for 50k bonus as well once you have the credit csrd for some time.

I have been using the AA points for Quatar Airways tickets to India. 40k for economy snd 70k for business. For the last 2-3 years availibility of yicketd was not an issue. Now getting harder.

Do you know if you can open this for 2 separate people and deposit all the points in 1 account?
