Eggs do not have flesh and are technically vegetarian friendly.
It has fiber and a sugar alternative. These may be reasons why you had an upset stomach.

Frankly, a lot of main stream products are leaning into low-glycemic index sugar alternatives. I expect to see a growth of these alternatives, like erythritol and allulose, in a number of products because they are more tolerable (on the digestive tract) than many others, while hitting the tag-line of being 'natural'. In my opinion, erythritol very little downside as an alternative minus the occasional hint of mint taste which can be masked if flavored well. All of this brings us to the value, and I'd argue that 50 cents for a package of 70 'healthier' calories is a fair deal, not great
Rant: If you are eating these do be healthier, you are making two mistakes versus one.

Or magnesium citrate... had elderly relative on many prescription meds with chronic constipation and the magnesium citrate cleared it up

Yikes.
Technically a deal, but if you're not going to eat the other 47 bars due to stomach cramps and questionable ingredients--Erythritol is #2 ingredient--I'd not consider this a "Deal" unless you're stomach is ok with the ingredients. I guess try it once and see what happens, but I personally haven't had good experiences with Erythritol in foods.
