So many people are selling this way much this price for their old ones on facebook, craigslist, etc, but thats very typical for many people, buy something in store and expect to loose only a few bucks after using it for 5 or ten years, Im always tempted to send them links for brand new versions of their wares at half of their price but I never do it
Just picked up a set and here are my thoughts and observations: there is no power switch, so these will say on all of the time unless you turn off whatever they're plugged into. They sound decent and would work fine for gaming, music and general use, but for me (I'm a recording engineer) I think I'd rather pay a bit more for some smaller powered studio speakers. There were two more at this price at the Walmart in Canton, MI when I went earlier today.
2 more at Walmart in Canton, MI at this price as of this afternoon. I picked a set up and here are my thoughts and observations: There is no power switch, so you have to either be fine with leaving these on all the time or have them connected to something you can turn off. They sound pretty good for the price, but for me I would rather pay a bit more for small powered studio speakers and have a power switch and better sound. But I'm an audio engineer and as others here have stated they sound great for general use.
I bought this 8 months ago for $50. Left channel crapped out after 6 months. I asked klipsch to send me the non BT version as a replacement under warranty and they did! Sso now I have the THX version.
