It was posted a few times last year at $1500 but never got much traction.

It was $1200 at BB about 10 months ago. That also appeared to be a 24 hr. deal.

Appears to excel in dark rooms, very atypical for IPS. It's Achilles' heel appears to be fast motion and lag time. It's lowest rating was for sports. As dual cell is still a new and exotic technology, definitely read some reviews before buying.

It excells in bright rooms too which is also atypical for IPS black levels.

**if you dont intend for it to be used on sports or video games.
