I've always had good luck with Whirlpool appliances except for dishwashers. The racks are metal and coated with some cheap crap that comes off and the racks rust and the pins fall off, usually they start rusting within a year. The racks cost an arm and a leg to replace so not worth it. I bought a Bosch 5 years ago. It was only a few bucks more and has been stellar to a Whirlpool in every way. The racks are nylon and as good as the day I bought it. The highest rated one is also the cheapest one on Consumer Reports. So my suggestion is to spend $70 more and get the Bosch. And for the record, I thought the Bosch was all hype. It wasn't.

We have this. It stopped working once, the repairman came and said motor went bad. He Ordered and replaced it. As I was under 2 years Costco guarantee.. I don't need to pay anything but to get it checked / order /. replace.. took 1 to 2 months..

I'm a little concerned because the Costco website says I was supposed to get a call the night before scheduled delivery to coordinate my 2 hour window. Never got a call, but my delivery is still scheduled on time.

It also says I need to schedule an installation and I've gotten zero info on that, why can't I schedule that right away? Annoying AF.

Not sure if too late for your answer, but it might depend on the delivery company that Costco uses. Due to this same comment I went and grabbed a basic water intake kit they sell at Lowes for dishwashers. When the installer came, he said not to worry and he supplied all the parts needed for install.
May be worth asking Costco if they have a policy on this... maybe installers are making an extra buck on the side selling for things that Costco is already covering.

Probably that or they needed longer tubing for my specific scenario.

I am a GE control board victim as well. I have a high end GE Cafe dishwasher. This morning it decided not to power on. Was able to get into repair mode so the lcd panel does work.

Control board is about $150 as well and OOS stock until mid march if they get any. GE pretty much said find a used board or check if anyone has a superseded board or buy new one. My dishwasher is 7 years old. SS inside, nylon racks, and this thing dries good (when it was functional). Can't even hear it running and it is a ~47db unit (i seen 44db units those must be stupid quiet!)

So don't waste your $ on expensive one.

Can't find the Bosch that someone on this thread recommended.

I bought this unit in November installed November 16 from Costco and have started to get the e1 f1 errors... It looks like the logic board is about to go .. I hope Costco helps me out with this....

Edit... I was 2 days out of the return policy so I have to go the repair route... Costco is not what it was... And this brand is shitola
