Questions for anyone who has experience with group plans...

I have account A with an S23 ordered as an existing Fi member, and has about $150 Fi credit from referrals and excess trade-ins. Account B completed an S22 promo earlier this month and currently has its Fi service paused; it has $35 in Fi credit.

1) Can I unpause acct B to make it active again, join acct A as a group plan, use acct B to order an S23 with the current promo, and use their combined Fi credits toward their group plan?

2) Will the promo for the S23 in acct A be voided because it's changing from a single-user plan to a group plan?

Thanks in advance for any help.
I have experience with group plans but not the exact scenario that you are describing.

Fi divided group plan members into "owner" & "member/manager"

1) You can do it this way but Acct B will become group owner and A will be member. B will only be able to use $35 credit. A can use the $150 towards monthly fees of A's account only.
As per my chat with Fi CS on the Pixel 7 deal, owner can use their referral credits towards paying the bill for the entire group plan monthly fees but members can only use their referral credits for their own portion of the monthly fees.

2) As per the promo terms:
Pausing, changing, or suspending the account will void the promotion.
Do you want to take that risk?

My suggestion:
If you add acct B as group member to acct A, then you can use the $150 plus $35 referral credit towards payment of your monthly fees for both accounts.

Thanks for your reply.
1) Per your suggestion (making acct A the group owner and acct B as a member) does acct A need to create a group first, then send B an invitation to join? The group plan tutorial you linked to uses an example of inviting a person who doesn't have Fi service yet. In my case, acct B already has Fi service (currently paused, but I can unpause if needed). With B already a Fi member, is that going to be a problem.?
2) The promo terms say "Pausing, changing, or suspending the account will void the promotion". Is changing account A's plan from single user to a group plan considered "changing account"? I was thinking "changing account" means moving your Fi phone from one account to another account. If changing the plan is considered an account change, then I will scrub the idea. I don't want to risk acct A's current S23 promo.

I can't see any countdown on my account. Do they appear only after device activation?

There have been at least 3 posts in the last few days from people who ported in from GV and their checklist was checked off for "Port in a number to Fi" , and their countdown started.

Added reminders in calendars to cancel.. don't forget if that's your plan.

You can go here to calculate when your 121st day of service begins.

Do you happen to know if the owner can safely pause their main line without affecting the other line's promotions?

It's set up like this

Main - 120 counter done
Line 2 - 20 days left
Line 3 - 25 days left

Can I successfully pause the main one and keep those others counting down? I'm scared because all those show under the main line's tracker and I don't know if it will mess things up. I didn't feel like paying another $30 with taxes for the main line that's done.

Ordered S23ultra. Today received package delivered by Fedex, but there was no phone inside the package. I reciced only Empty Box. Contacted Helpdesk of Google fi. They said they will send one more phone.

Surprisingly, the weight mentioned on package was 1 lb. It should be atleast 2lb. I dont know whether, it is fault from Google fi side or FedEx.

Pls make sure to check weight of shipment in tracking details and also make sure to record full video while opening package.

Anybody has similar experiences?

I've received packages for Fi S22 and Fi Pixel 7. Their labels all list the weight as 1 lb. Per the comparison below, the S23 Ultra is less than 2 oz more than the P7. Why do you think the weight on the label should be at least 2 lb?
