I know you guys in florida have to use hurricane strapping for uplift connections and twisting.
It's amazing how much can be inspected in a ten minute inspection. (Lol) I laugh. Our building code in South Florida is now rated for 170 MPH, Category 5 hurricane. After one of those, I'll drive around looking for my load-bearing walls and additions. They're the only things that will be left standing. As we use to say in the fire service, we saved the foundation! (And...now back to some Slick Deals!)
