Cost aside, I would rather add my own milk and butter than ingest whatever dehydrated artificial stuff other brands might use to simulate those flavors. Not that these instant potatoes are healthy anyway...

I hate to be the health person here... but to keep it simple, no. Make it fresh with non processed ingredients. Not regularly at the least...once a month MAYBE if you really like it and that's with you eating generally healthy. Again, make it fresh...get your cooking skill/job/class level up. Stop being a level 1.
